I would like to take a few moments of your time to introduce myself. I am sure that if you are like me, then you will feel more comfortable in knowing a little about the person who is about to play an important part in officiating, on your wedding day.

The first wedding I officiated, was 1978, in Brisbane. Since then, I have officiated at weddings from the Gold Coast to Brisbane. Caboolture / Bribie Island to Tin Can Bay, and the whole coastal strip and Hinterland, in between.

My family and I, have lived on the Sunshine Coast for the past twenty four years. Happily married, my wife and I share seven children and eleven grandchildren, showing we walk the talk and don’t just talk the walk!

I love people and working alongside them, taking great pride in their achievements as well as being a part of their journey. In 1999, I studied and passed the exam to become a Justice of the Peace, Qualified. This has allowed me to put something of value into the community.

Amongst other things, I have the honour and trust of many elderly folk, to overseer and watch out for their personal requirements, and requests. I sit with young people, whose parents can’t attend police interviews, to be there for their protection, as well as the police officers, that conduct the interviews. Both these and other duties, are quite a privilege.

There you have a little background information about myself. I do hope I get the opportunity to meet with you, discuss your marriage ceremony requirements, and more so, to have the privilege to officiate at your special wedding day.
